Joe Camareno

Joe Camareno is a busy working actor from Los Angeles. Having trained in New York for the musical theatre stage, he has branched out into work in front of the camera and has built an impressive and extensive television and film resume with credits that include Grey's Anatomy, The Shield (recurring) and the indie film Expired where he played opposite Samantha Morton and Jason Patric. He has also appeared in several American commercials in the English and Spanish markets for top American brands. Voice over is also part of his busy work schedule, lending his voice to radio, industrials and movie trailers both in English and Spanish. 

Camareno is also an award winning director and producer. His directing feature film debut 'Revenge of the Bimbot Zombie Killers' won the Best Feature prize at the Reel Rasquache Film Festival in Pasadena, California in May 2011. He is also the director and producer of the upcoming webseries, Fixing Paco, featuring Latin pop sensation Christian Chavez of RBD fame, and American comedy legend Paul Rodriguez. His other directing and producing work has also garnered awards with the most recent being Best Internet Production at the Imagen Awards 2011 for his work on Ylse, a webseries. He also took top directing honors for Ylse in 2009.

Camareno is a prolific producer having produced for the stage, film, web and was even one of the pioneers of web production content with the audio podcast 'Other World News' back in 2003 and Virgin Falls which took Best Audio Production honors at the Parsec Awards sponsored by Dragon*Con in 2006.

Urn, a film Camareno will be starring in come February 2012 will mark Camareno's foray onto the international producing stage and he couldn't be more pleased. He will star as the films male lead opposite Francesca De Luca. "Visiting London as a tourist is great, but having to be in London to shoot a film as an actor is a dream," says Camareno.
