Armando Acevedo
I have been working in television since 1993. I have worked as Director of Photography on Music Videos for groups like; A Lighter Shade of Brown; OZOMATLI; EZCALA; and Octavio Red. My current work includes a web series named “ENCOUNTERS” and a reality-TV show with the working title “On the Line.” My documentary work includes “VISIONS OF AZTLÁN” which aired May of 2010 on PBS; “SYMBOL OF HEART” which received the Imagen Award in 2000; and the docu-comedy “In SEARCH OF AZTLÁN.” In 2006 I received an Emmy Award for Best News Director for my work in “PRIMERA EDICION” which airs mornings on the Univision network. And for the second consecutive year I have directed the “Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses Parade” for Univision Network. Copies of work are available upon request.
